Many years ago, before we sold on the Internet, we had a local vacuum store in St. Petersburg, Florida. One of our local celebrity customers was Mary Ann from Gilligan's Island. It was always so much fun when she came in the store.
On the Internet we have seen our list of celebrity and distinguished customers grow. This week we sold central vacuum product to the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court is a repeat customer at Central Vacuum Stores and I guess they've handed down their judgement on who to buy from on the Internet.
Earlier in the week we sold an Imperium CV7500 to a NASA contractor. The Imperium is made right here in the USA by Lindsay Mfg., one of the country's leading central vacuum manufacturers. Other companies have gone offshore with their production facilities, but Lindsay still assembles their units in Ponca City, Oklahoma. The Imperium is all steel and has a special powder coating that lasts for years. The specs on the Imperium CV7500 are impressive. Finally, this week we contracted with the Humane Society to install a central vacuum system in one of their facilities. They also chose an Imperium central vacuum system.
