What do you think of when you think summer? Vacations, baseball, the beach? Well, at Central Vacuum Stores when we think summer we think of our customers and that means attending the Internet Retailers Convention.
During the month of June, Internet Retailers Magazine holds the largest learning convention in the country. This year it was in Boston and our web developers, Cathy and Craig attended and brought back a boat load of ideas to make our website better than ever. God bless Craig, he even made it part of his family's summer vacation, and took Kim and the kids to Boston with him. (Kim homeschools and thought Boston would be a great educational experience)
We love this convention because the "best of the best" offer practical suggestions and ideas for improving websites....
Here's what Cathy had to say about this year's convention...
"I'm always so excited to attend this annual conference and learn what's new in web technology. But, getting to hear all the market research on what exactly qualifies as a great consumer online shopping experience is the icing on the cake. I know we read every single comment that comes in through our web site survey and take all of our email and phone feedback seriously but, I'm always left wondering "What do our customers want that they aren't telling us? How can we make their experience with Central Vacuum Stores better than they could have imagined?". Well, the Internet Retailer's Conference always seems to answer just that. Now it's time for me to get to work and implement all this great new stuff!"
