Sebo Powerhead for Central Vacuum Systems

Sebo_etc_2 At Central Vacuum Stores we are excited to add Sebo to our ptoduct line.  We are carrying their canister and upright vacuum cleaners. In addition, we have added their powerhead to our central vacuum system product mix.  This powerhead is a high quality, German made piece of equipment.  What we particularly like is the engineering of the belt drive, which has an incredibly long life.  You can find more details about this product on our website.

To Protect Your Warranty, Only Buy a Beam Central Vacuum from an Authorized Dealer

2007beamelectrolux20logo20copy_4 Roger and I are sitting in Dallas, Texas because we have been  at the Beam dealers meeting.  Gathered here are the main Beam dealers in the country.  Beam is the largest manufacturer of central vacuum systems in the world.  They are owned by Electrolux, a multi-national conglomerate.  Central Vacuum Stores has been a Beam dealer since 1981 and we have been a member of their Top 20 Club.   You can look forward to seeing some great new innovations, and I will share those through this blog in the coming days.

Right now I need to let you know that there  is concern because there are pirated Beams on the Internet.  Before you buy one of these products unknowingly and end up with a central vacuum system without a warranty,  be sure to call Beam and verify that the company you are dealing with is a Beam dealer; 1-800-369-BEAM.   You could also check their dealer locater at www.beamvac.com, but that will be a little trickier because you will need the state and zip code of the company selling the pirated Beams online. You can find us in the dealer locater at www.beamvac.com; we are in the state of Florida and our zip code is 33714.

Don't Be Confused By Our Name: Central Vacuum Knows Intercoms

At Central Vacuum Stores, we have been installing intercom systems for over 25 years.  We don't want anyone to be confused by our name.  60 years ago we started as a vacuum store on Central Avenue in St. Petersburg, Florida, but by early 90's our primary business was installing central vacuum systems and intercoms.  This is a note from a customer who was bewildered by our name....

Working with your company was terrific.  The ordering process was easy.
The shipments arrived on time and in good condition.  I mis-ordered a
couple of the items and the return process was also effortless.  I will
definitely return to your web-site for my Nutone needs.
BTW, one of my hesitations when I found your site was the name.  I
wasn't entirely comfortable buying electronic equipment from a vacuum
store.
Brandon

Here are some recent emails from very satisfied intercom customers.

Everyone there was very helpful and informative. Starting from the time I first began looking for a possible replacement for my 20-year old M&S intercom system, through sales and shipping, to tech support after the installation. Thanks!

I just wanted to let you know how pleased I am with your service and products.  My husband went to the store where we had originally purchased our central vacuum and intercom system several years ago to get a replacement for the main intercome unit that was damaged by a lighting strike in our home.  The owner of the store told him that same unit was not even made anymore and tried to convince him to go with a completely new system that would require replacing every component we already had installed at a cost of thousands of dollars.  I decided to try to find something on the internet, so I Googled "intercom systems" and your web site came up.  Everything we needed was clearly listed and pictured so I placed my order and received all the materials within a few days.  My husband was out of town while this was happening so by the time he got home, the new system, along with a few nice upgrades, was completely installed right before Christmas!  Thanks so much for your outstanding service; I'll certainly use you again and recommend you to eeryone I know.
Sincerely,
Terry

It has been a pleasure working with the folks at Central Vacuum. We purchased a NuTone intercom/music/doorbell system to upgrade the old house system. I received good advice on the parts to order, and the shipping was very prompt. The new parts have been hooked up to our old wiring and everything looks great and works perfectly!! Thanks so much for all the help.

Kate

Galaxie Sweep-Away Vac Pan Central Vacuum for Existing Systems

The automatic vac pan feature on central vacuum systems has become very popular.  Several years ago we wereVacpan2_2 having customers request a vac pan central vacuum system that operated independently.  In other words, the customer had an existing system that was too difficult to tap into or they did not have a central vac system at all, and they wanted the electric vac pans for their kitchen or bathroom.  At that time no one made anything like that, so Roger, the owner of Central Vacuum Stores designed his own Vac Pan System using a small Beam.  The unit has been very popular and since then, other manufacturers have made similar products.  Beam has recently discontinued their small central vacuum unit and so we are dropping this vac pan system from our line.

The good news is that Galaxie manufactures a product very similar to the one Roger designed.  In fact, they have done a much better job than we did. They call their product the Sweep Away Cabinet Vac.  In addition to the vac pan feature, you can see in the picture that  it has an inlet on the unit so it can actually be used as a self contained central vacuum system.
Be sure to take a look at this system on our site.
